Dec. 20, 2009: LKNS gym will be opened at 4:30PM today for CJBC coaching program and regular play at 6:30PM.
Dec. 12, 2009: Registration for Spring 2010 starts now. Please refer to 2010 Spring page for detail. We recommend you to download the registration form, fill out, sign it, and mail in with a personal check. Yearly membership with discount is also available until Jan. 31, 2010.
Nov. 29 , 2009: Due to inavilability of LKNS gym during the month of December, the board has come up the following makeup plan for members: 1) Members can play on any date in this month to make up the date they missed; 2) CJBC to extend play hours for the rest of the season starting on Tuesday, Dec. 1 until Wed, Dec. 30. Please refer to schedule for any last minute schedule change.

Oct. 10, 2009: Due to personal reason, Deyana will not be available for the 1-on-1 sessions. All the 1-on-1 sessions are cancelled. We shall try to work with her when she becomes available again. Meanwhile, junior play date session is also cancelled. All the prepaid fees will be refunded. We are very sorry for the last minute changes.

Apr. 19, 2009: Starting in Summer 2009 season, CJBC games will abandon 15-point system and follow the new 30-point system. Please refer to 21-point rule page for details.

We recommend you to download the registration form, fill out, sign it, and mail in with personal check. If you pay in cash please do ask for the receipt portion at the bottom of the regsitration form signed by the coordinator for your own record

July 16, 2008: Only indoor court shoes with gum-rubber bottom are allowed in the courts. Outdoor shoes with spikes for field sports, including soccer, football, baseball, etc. are strictly prohibited in the gym.
July 16, 2008: Please help the club as possible as you can to keep shuttle expense low. Practice/drill with used shuttlecocks. Use new shuttlecocks for real games only. Save shuttlecocks in good condition for next game.
July 9 , 2008: Summer II coaching program to start on 7/20 and is open for registration now.
June 25, 2008: CJBC will reopen for regular play on Tuesday, July 1. We shall extend for half an hour for four weeks in order to make up the the time we lost due to the floor resurfacing project. Please check in schedule page for details.
June 12, 2008: LKNS plans to refinish the floor in the gym. CJBC will use this opportunity to reline with four courts and need to close the plays for two weeks. The work is scheduled from June 16 thru end of the month. CJBC will reopenfor plays on Tuesday, July 1. We are sorry for the short notice.

May 15, 2008: To ensure the tournament can start on time, all players please report to registration station, pay off the balance due, read and sign the Waiver and Release of Liability form before 2:15PM on 5/18. No one can play without a signed waiver form.

Jan. 23, 2008: Due to more students than expected i the new coaching Program, we need to run two classes with 2 full hours. The regular playing hours have to be postponed for half an hour. The new schedule on Sudnay is 6:30PM to 8:30PM. We are sorry for the change.

Jan. 4 , 2008: There is NO "Open Week" event at CJBC for year 2008. Non-member trial play fee is $15, which is deductiable from facility fee upon registration for a regular schedule. Earlybird discount ends on Jan. 9 (based on poststamp if you mail the registration form).

Dec. 12, 2007: All active Fall members can play on all three days during the first week of year 2008, i.e. Sun 1/6, Tue 1/8, and Wed1/9, to make up their loss from December closures.

Feb. 22, 2007: Please be considerate in using the shuttlecocks. Always try to find used shuttlecocks for drilling and practicing and use new ones for regular games. This can eliminate the need to increase shuttlecock fees. Thank you for your support.

Feb. 7, 2007: CJBC Board has decided not to organize games at JCC facility any more after the Spring term. The members signed up for JCC in the current term can continue playing until the end of the term.

Dec. 9, 2006: Due to the facility availability at LKNS, we are not able to play during the weeks of 12/11-12/17 and 12/24-12/31. We are sorry for the inconvenience it may cause to all the members.
Dec. 8, 2006: Effective today, no more pay-per-play or visitor play can be accepted at JCC. Furthermore, starting in Spring 2007, CJBC will not organize games at JCC facility any more.
